Compulsory Learning Activity
In 2009, Vietnam passed the Law of Examination and Treatment in Vietnam, which requires all medical professionals to have 48 hours of CME every two years to maintain their professional license. Continuing medical education is very important because it helps doctors keep their skills up to date. “CME is an essential part of the national strategy to improve the capacity of health care workers in Vietnam. It is also one of the key factors in ensuring the quality and uniformity of human resources, which translates to equity and quality in health care services.

What is CME credit? and the role of CME credit?

CME (Continuing Medical Education) is a compulsory learning activity that aims to update and improve the professional knowledge and skills of doctors and medical staff to perform well in their profession. In Vietnam, doctors and medical staff need to have at least 48 CME credits in 2 years (VNS, 2021).

How long does it take to apply for a CME license?

Applying for a CME license will take 2 months (Dovepress 2021)

A list of lecturers, appropriate in terms of structure and qualifications
